Import Revit types as VisualARQ styles

This video shows how to import Revit object types as VisualARQ object styles, using Rhino.Inside.Revit, so they can be used in Rhino.

The Rhino.Inside technology allows you to run Rhino inside Revit and therefore VisualARQ too. Using Grasshopper as a bridge, the Rhino geometry and VisualARQ objects can travel back and forth from Rhino to Revit, reading and transmitting their parametric features and data in the process.

In this video you can see how to transfer Revit walls, floors, roofs, windows and doors, reading the information of their types and generating new VisualARQ styles for each object type in Rhino.

Later on, these styles are available to be used in VisualARQ when you need to create walls, slabs, openings, etc…

You can watch another example of how to transfer VisualARQ objects from Rhino to Revit in this post.

The Grasshopper definition used for this process is available for free in food4Rhino: https://www.food4rhino.com/en/resource/revit-types-visualarq-styles
