Theoretical framework:

The use of CAD systems has revolutionized the workflow for architectural and town planning projects over the last thirty years. The tools for digital design have allowed the convergence of knowledge and information of engineering, architecture, new materials, environmental conditions and construction processes, generating a new threshold that is evident in the morphologies of the vanguard projects.

Goal:

The talk will show some of the CAD technologies that use design studies at the international level, which integrate the highest levels of information through the use of BIM – Building Information Modeling, in conjunction with generative design tools. The convergence of use of Rhinoceros 5.0 + Grasshopper + VisualARQ 2.0 + V-Ray 3 have placed a new threshold in the digital design for architecture. It is important that the academy appropriates these technologies as part of the training of professionals of high level, competent in the use of the most advanced software to date.
